Website Design Matters

Your website is everything and all you are when it comes down to the front line of e-commerce.  It’s like your race car in a big race. When I look at a website I look for text quality, relevancy to what is being sold and text placement on the page. Images are near meaningless to the search engines, but those images are important in making a website look nice and to give the best descriptive value to any item. From a consumers point of view it is appealing to the eye, in order to have a well optimized site you have to create a balance between the two of these worlds. I built the site www.cremationurn.biz together with Gabriela from glassurns.com and Steve Szettella from 4wordsystems.com. My main goal was to build a site that would be beautiful as well as search engine friendly. Please take a minute to view the site. This site was finished August 1 2005 and is beginning to index within the major search engines.

While looking for a local web designer I found Steve Szettella from www.4wordsystems.com. Steve was doing some small web design work on the side. He created 4 word systems in hopes of expanding his skills into the internet. Steve works for a car company in Dearborn, Michigan writing code and pulling together web based information systems. His skills are as cutting edge as you can possibly get when it comes to the internet. I have worked with over a dozen web designers and even the best of them had to say ‘they can’t”, “no”, or “it’s not possible”, at least once. Steve does not accept words like “can’t” or “no” when it comes to computer issues. Steve and I are expanding our businesses as well as partnering together. By bringing together our skills we are able to offer many desirable skills to our clients.

Search engine optimization, search engine marketing and e-commerce development all go hand in hand. You will most likely need to utilize all three of these in order to be successful online. I have been involved with all aspects of E-Commerce for 5 years now. I have the answers and I am excited to guide the next company that is ready to take advantage of the most opportune time in history. Whatever your product or service is believe one thing; the internet can help you sell it.

The future for my web customers looks optimal!

Within the field of Search engine optimization are those who play by trick. As discussed earlier many of these search engine optimization firms will have problems. These sites are usually just full of other links that take you to web sites you were first looking for when you clicked on their link. I usually exit them. The end result is just more clicking to get to what you are looking for, and no one wants that. Blogging is soon to be another thing that no one wants, yet search engine optimization companies here in Michigan and across the nation are blogging in to get search engine placement – even though the search engines have formally warned against penetrating retail e-commerce shopping areas.  Currently, many people do not see the nuisance or confusion blogs can cause. I do not use blogging to get my site indexed.
